‘Undersea Garden’ comes to PAFAC
The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center hosts “Undersea Garden: A Voyage Of Wonder & Imagination,” an exhibit that opens Saturday, Sept. 12, and runs through Nov. 15 at the center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.
Cost is by donation.
A members’ opening is slated for 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Sept. 12; the opening for the general public opening is 1-5 p.m.
The exhibit is presented by Tangled Fibers, a collaborative group of four Olympic Peninsula fiber artists (see tangledfibers.weebly.com). Using fiber, color, texture and whimsy, the Tangled Fibers artists create kelp, tide pools, octopus, sea stars, nudibranchs, jellyfish and other forms of life found under and over its shores. Some pieces in this exhibit will be the work of individual members of the Tangled Fibers, group while others will be collaborative efforts.
Summer PAFAC gallery hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m.,Thursday–Sunday.
