Accordion social rescheduled

The Sequim Accordion Social at the Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond St., Sequim, is being rescheduled from Jan. 9 to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, due to the potential for dangerous driving weather. Featured players will be Elsa and Hermann Laresser.

Fiddlers fraternize

The members of the Washington Old Time Fiddlers, District 15, will play for the public from 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond St., Sequim. The group’s meeting is from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for members.

Snowgrass blues set for Jan. 21

An evening of bluegrass comes to the Port Angeles High School Auditorium, 304 E. Park St., at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 — doors open at 6 p.m. — with the 15th annual Snowgrass concert. This fundraiser for First Step Family Support Center features Crescent Blue, Luck of the Draw, The Tony Flagg Trio and Haywire. Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door; $10 for seniors 65+, $7 for teens and children 12 and under are free. Tickets are available at Port Book &News and the Co-op Farm &Garden.
