Bring a lawn chair, blanket and some good eats as the Sequim Library hosts live tunes at its free annual “Summertime Music! Outdoor Concert Series.”
Dirty Beat Duo kicks off the series at 6 p.m. Friday, July 22, on the outdoor stage behind the library, 630 N. Sequim Ave. Dirty Beat Duo, or DBD, consists of the talents of Pete Lack and Jesse Joshua Watson, who perform and create “danceable, cross-generational and cross-genre” electronic music.
Following DBD’s July 22 performance is Celtic band/dance troupe Lobo Delo Mar on July 29, spicy Gypsy folk and swing from the Delta Rays on Aug. 5, Seattle’s literature and music collective Bushwick Book Club on Aug. 12 and a community contra dance featuring fiddler Rodney Miller on Aug. 20.
