The Olympic Crosscutters earned a place in the American Legion AA State Tournament by slipping past Centralia 7-6 on Saturday, July 16, at Port Angeles’ Civic Field.  They lost 10-6 to Montesano in the district championships on Sunday but travel to the AA state tournament, which runs July 23-28 in Mount Vernon and Burlington.
