Taize service planned

All are welcome to the ecumenical Taize service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., at 7 p.m. Monday, May 22. In a meditative candlelit atmosphere which includes singing simple repetitive songs, one may simply sit peacefully during the hour long service or join in the chorus while experiencing the calming effect of being in God’s presence. Because of summer travels, there will be no Taize services at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church during the months of June, July and August. Services will resume in September.
