Lecture series to explore God’s Government
On Oct. 14-15, Dr. Sigve Tonstad will present “Four Glimpses through Revelation’s Open Door,” a series of talks examining the character of God and the trustworthiness of His government as described in the Book of Revelation, at the Sequim Seventh-day Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane.
The schedule include:
• Friday, Oct. 14 — “The More You Read It, the Better It Gets,” 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 15 — “An Open Door in a World of Secrecy,” 9:30 a.m.; “Crisis in the Heavenly Council,” 11 a.m.; “The Name that No One Knows,” 2 p.m.
Also on Saturday, Oct. 15, there is a special Children’s Church experience for children of ages 4-10 from 11 a.m.-noon, and a free meal at 1 p.m.
A native of Norway, Tonstad is a professor of theological studies and Medicine at Loma Linda University, Calif., and has written much on the topic of the character of God. He is the author of a new commentary on Revelation. His series offers a fresh take on what Revelation has to offer.
