Milestone: Sequim’s Andrews completes Air Force basic training

The U.S. Air Force announced last week that Airman Aaron Andrews of Sequim has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Basic military training is an eight-week program that includes training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Having graduated Air Force basic military training, Andrews will be promoted to Airman First Class (E-3).

He will be continuing on to Air Force Special Warfare technical training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Andrews is the son of Ben and Leah Andrews of Sequim. He is a 2018 Sequim High School graduate and a 2020 graduate of Peninsula College.
