The second-annual Moving Pictures Festival film submission deadline is noon on Wednesday, May 27.
Entries are open to current and former Peninsula College students.
Submissions must be available as a high quality video on YouTube for consideration, and less than 15 minutes in length. Videos can be student work or productions outside of coursework.
The Festival will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, Maier Performance Hall at Peninsula College 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.; the event is free and open to the public.
Participants must email their YouTube URL to Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond, Peninsula CollegeDigital Video Instructor, at rbrock-richmond@pencol.edu. Entries must include submitter’s name, years attending PC, title of film or animation, length of media, and year produced.
Videos will be reviewed on May 28, by Peninsula College students who have earned their Short-Term Certificate in Digital Video, and by instructor Brock-Richmond.
Once selections and curation of the entries is made, video files will be edited together for the Second Annual Moving Pictures Festival Film on June 4.
