New PT duo salutes spring

Port Townsend musicians Lenore Vardi (violin) and Lisa Lanza (piano) will debut at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1120 Walker St., Port Townsend with a nod to spring in the Pacific Northwest. 

Johannes Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 1 in G major, Op. 78, “The Rain Sonata,” is featured, along with Mozart’s Sonata No. 13 for Violin and Piano, Chopin’s Ballade in F Minor and Emanuel Vardi’s “Suite for Violin and Piano.” 

There is a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $6 for children at the door.
