OPAS to host ‘Ascent of Birds’ virtual lectures

Join University of Washington professor Jim Karr for a lecture and discussion series based on John Reilly’s pioneering book “The Ascent of Birds: How Modern Science Is Revealing Their Story (2018),” from 4-5:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.

Sessions are free, and will be held via Zoom until further notice.

Hosted by the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society, each session explore key concepts in bird evolution, biogeography and special adaptations of a bird species or group.
