P.C. to premiere quirky plays

This year’s Peninsula College Find Your Voice Play Festival promises to be a smorgasbord of creative talent and innovative solutions to the question of how to integrate three random “thingies” — Rick Flare the wrestler, Canada and a candle, into seven imaginative and unique plays.

This year’s Peninsula College Find Your Voice Play Festival promises to be a smorgasbord of creative talent and innovative solutions to the question of how to integrate three random “thingies” — Rick Flare the wrestler, Canada and a candle, into seven imaginative and unique plays.

Each year the Find Your Voice Play Festival invites anyone in the community to submit their play that combines three new elements each year into a cohesive piece. The result is surprising and novel, event organizers say.

Show dates are set for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27-28 and 2 p.m. March 1 in the Little Theater. Tickets, available at the door, are $8 for general admission, $6 for seniors and non-P.C. students with ID, and free to P.C. students.
