Readers Theatre Plus (RT+) is now accepting original theatrical works for on-stage production.

Starting in January and continuing through Feb. 28, Readers Theatre Plus will accept original plays for production during its 2014-2015 theatrical season.

The RT+ Play Reading Committee will review all submissions during the two-month period March 1-April 30 and select those to be produced during the following season, which runs from June 2014-May 2015.

All submissions must be in play format and suitable for presentation in a Readers Theatre format. Both full-length and one-act plays will be considered.

Musicals must be accompanied by sheet music or lead sheets for all songs.

Two copies of the literary work — either play or musical ­­ must be submitted to the Play Reading Committee for review.

The committee will send a written response to all those submitting material, no later than April 30.
