Sequim students friend first responders

Sequim elementary schools hosted “Friend a First Responder” Day at Greywolf and Helen Haller Elementary schools on April 26.

First responders from the U.S. Border Patrol, Clallam County Fire District 3, Olympic Ambulance, PenCom, and Washington State Patrol joined students at lunch, recess and in reading books.

Students wrote letters and colored shields to display and give to the guests as a thank you for their service.
