Small works entries sought

Artists working in all media are invited to enter the Museum and Arts Center’s featured art exhibit for December, the Sequim Arts Small Works Show and Sale.

All media will be accepted, including, but not limited to watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil, pen and ink, pastel, collage, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, fine arts textiles and photography.

All works must be 8- by 10-inches or smaller including the frame, and be for sale. Three-dimensional works must be no wider than 8 inches and no higher than 10 inches.

All entries must be priced for sale and 25 percent of the selling price will be shared between the MAC and Sequim Arts as holiday fundraisers.

Artists who wish to donate all of their sale proceeds are encouraged to do so. The proceeds will help fund activities of both organizations, including demonstrations, classes, exhibits and scholarships.

Entry forms are at the MAC Exhibit Center, 175 W. Cedar St., Sequim, and online at www.macsequim.org and www.sequimarts.org. The entry fee is $5 for up to three pieces for MAC and Sequim Arts members, and $10 for up to three pieces for nonmembers. Artwork will be accepted at the exhibit center from 9 a.m.-noon on Monday, Nov. 29.

The show and sale runs Nov. 30-Dec. 22 at the MAC Exhibit Center. An artists’ reception is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3.
