Tour ‘Italy through the Ages’ with chamber orchestra

The Port Angeles Symphony Chamber Orchestra takes listeners on a journey to "Italy through the Ages" with concerts at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 Lopez Ave., Port Angeles; and at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Sequim Worship Center, 640 N. Sequim Ave.

 

 

Classical guitarist Michael Nicolella and cellist Mia Frederickson join pianist (and conductor) Adam Stern as soloists for the program, which includes Giovanni Bolzoni’s "Minuet and Gavotte," Antonio Vivaldi’s Sonata in E for cello and piano, Mauro Giuliani’s Concerto in A for guitar and orchestra and Ottorino Respighi’s "Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 3."
