Under the Friday night lights, Sequim High School kept its tradition of crowning its Homecoming court at halftime of the varsity football game.
This year, seniors Ashton Reichner and Finn Braaten were voted queen and king by classmates.
Senior royalty also included Joey Kang and Jessie Bainbridge as prince and princess; and Grillien Morrill and Laila Sundin as duke and duchess.
For the junior class royalty, Brycen Gorr and Mason Rapelje were selected by the school, along with Reid Spaulding and Marelys Gonzalez for the sophomore class, and Silas Hagar and Kendall Adolphe for the freshmen class.
ASB adviser Sean O’Mera said students were considered for their investment in school, leadership, school spirit, and other factors. Last year, Israel Torres and Skylar Krzyworz were crowned king and queen.
The Wolves lost 34-12 to Bremerton with Liam Wiker scoring both of the Wolves’ touchdowns. Up next, the varsity team hosts North Kitsap on Oct. 10.
