Army band to play in Sequim

The 133rd Army Band-Washington National Guard, presents a public concert at 6 p.m. Friday, July 8, at the James Center for the Performing Arts near Carrie Blake Park.

The event is free.

The band, based out of Camp Murray, is a diverse group of musicians and ensembles, which serve the community and represent the Washington National Guard throughout the state.

Members of the band range in age from their late teens to mid-50s.

The date is an addition to the city’s Music and Movie in the Park, a series started in 2006 and now in its sixth year.

The program is made possible by the generous support of community sponsors.
