Floral designers from across the Olympic Peninsula will interpret the sculptures of Shannon Weber exhibiting at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, in a tribute to celebrate Mother’s Day, at the 2015 Art In Bloom, May 8-10.
Mim Foley created Art In Bloom in 2004 in collaboration with Mary Lou Waitz and Bernice Cook.
Foley died in an accident in 2010 but the exhibit continues with the ongoing support of the Foley family and under the guidance of Cook and Waitz.This year’s participating floral designers are Cook, Waitz, Tina Cozzolino, Linda Nutter, Mary Lou Paulson and Patty Wheatley of Port Angeles; Judi McClanahan of Forks; Marian Meany of Port Townsend; Billie Fitch of Nordland and Betty Wren of Seattle.
The center is at 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Sunday through October.Woodland Art Park is open daylight hours, year-round.Admission is free.
