The Sequim City Council is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the City Planning Commission. This four-year term expires in January 2020. This vacancy must be filled by a resident within the City of Sequim.
The Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St., with meetings lasting one to two hours.
The only extra time commitment is to review meeting materials to be prepared for commission discussion and to attend infrequent public meetings and events as an observer.
This voluntary Commission serves as the City Council’s primary advisory body on policies, regulations and capital spending related to growth and development, and it may also conduct proceedings on specific land use applications such as subdivisions.
