Crews from Lakeside Industries will be milling and repaving portions of East Fir Street as part of the City’s Pavement Preservation project on Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20.

Paving is scheduled for Friday, April 21.

Work will be performed along East Fir Street from North Sequim Avenue to North Matriotti Avenue, also affecting North Sunnyside Avenue, North Knapman Avenue and North Govan Avenue.

All local traffic that must enter East Fir Street will continue to have access, city representatives noted, but are encouraged to use alternative routes if possible.

Residents are encouraged to heed flaggers, cones and construction signage, and to be aware of large construction equipment and trucks and their backup alarms.

This project includes placement of Hot Mix Asphalt and milling. The work will be performed by Lakeside Industries and PR Systems.
