Clallam County Sheriff’s Office seeks burglar suspect

The Clallam County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Sequim man in connection with two burglaries and one burglary attempt in the northern Diamond Point Area.

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Sequim man in connection with two burglaries and one burglary attempt in the northern Diamond Point Area.

Authorities are looking for the whereabouts and any information regarding Camrin C. Bell, a 19-year-old Sequim resident.

In April and May of this year, deputies responded to two burglaries and one attempted burglary in the Diamond Point Area. The two houses that had been entered were forcefully entered by a person or persons using a rock to break the glass. With the glass broken out, they able to reach inside the residence and unlock the door.

Items stolen from the house appeared to be similar and consisted of jewelry, electronics, alcohol and a loaded firearm.

The two burglaries and the attempted burglary are being investigated and evidence was collected from the scenes.

Fingerprints and DNA samples were sent to the Washington State Crime Lab for analysis, and on Aug. 7, a suspect — Bell — was identified by a DNA sample that had been submitted to the crime lab for analysis.
