Mary E. Upton – Upton, 43, Sequim, was charged Aug. 24 with one count of attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and one count of DUI-breathalyzer refusal.
According to court records, Upton allegedly was driving under the influence Aug. 22 on westbound U.S. Highway 101 and refused to stop for the pursuing police officer.
After her arrest, Upton refused both a breathalyzer test and blood test and was booked into jail.
Charley Nicole Ralston – Ralston, 25, Sequim was charged Aug. 24 with five counts of forgery, two counts of third-degree theft and one count of possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana.
According to court records, Ralston allegedly tried to cash a check on Aug. 20 that had been stolen from a Sequim business and also cashed stolen checks between April 17 and Aug. 14.
