Climate Action group offers Zoom talk on energy savings

Dave Large, owner of a Net-Zero Plus home in Sequim, will discuss steps to make your home more efficient, save on energy bills and take advantage of national incentives, in a virtual program on home energy efficiency at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16.

Olympic Climate Action, a grass-roots group looking to locally address the threat of climate change, sponsors the event.

Large has compiled a comprehensive list of local, state and federal energy saving incentives at the group’s website, too.

His demonstration home was part of the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Home Tour last fall and nearly 100 people visited. It requires small amounts of energy and its rooftop solar panels annually generate more energy than is used by the home and his car.
