The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society and Toga’s Soup House, 122 W. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles are teaming up to present Toga’s Soup House Cutest Pet Contest. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Toga’s.

Through April 30, customers are encouraged to bring their cute pet with them when they visit Toga’s drive-thru. To participate in the contest, humans pay $1 and a photo will be taken of your pet at the drive-thru. All proceeds will be donated to the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. Pets can be nominated multiple times.

Toga’s drive-thru opens at 7 a.m. Monday-Friday. Voting for the cutest pet will take place the week of May 4-8. During that week, all of the nominated pet’s photos will be on display inside the restaurant. Participants must go inside the restaurant to vote. Votes are $1 each with proceeds benefitting the Humane Society.

The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society has maintained an active presence in the community since 1947. The Society shelters and cares for animals of all types. A private, nonprofit  corporation, OPHS is financed primarily by private donations and gifts.
