Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church’s mission statement proclaims "God’s Work: Our Hands."

The Rev. Jack Anderson said his congregation is service-minded through its nonprofit and community support.

Members started and support the Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic.

They also support:

_ Sequim Food Bank with a monthly collection

_ Sequim Light Lunch Program with volunteers

_ Community help organizations such as Sequim Community Aid, Lutheran Community Services and Dream Center of Clallam County through congregational benevolence.

Church provides space for:

_ AA/Alanon

_ Yoga

_ Spiritual directors Terri Bristow and Gene Bradbury

Gathering times:

Main service times are 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays with all-church potlucks at

6 p.m. Wednesdays.

More than 130 attend the two services.

Traditional liturgical worship with an eclectic blend of musical styles defines the church’s music.

_ 8:15 a.m., Mondays, Men’s OutReach Endeavor, at SunLand Clubhouse

_ 7 p.m. Tuesdays, women’s book club

_ 4:15-6 p.m. Wednesdays, choir

_ 1 p.m. Thursdays, weekly Bible study at the church

_ 10 a.m. Thursdays, crafting circle at the church parish house

_ 1 p.m. Thursdays, quilting group at the parish house

_ 2-3 p.m. Sundays, youth group, call for times and location

Monthly

_ 1 p.m. third Monday, Prayer Shawl Circle, off-site, call for details

_ 10 a.m.-noon, third Tuesday, Stephen Ministry

_ 10 a.m.-noon, second Thursday, Women of the ELCA, WELCA

_ 10 a.m. second Saturday, mediation group at the parish house
