Event to honor veterans

National Medal of Honor Day is Tuesday, March 25. The Clallam County Veterans Association will host a display in the lobby of the Clallam County Courthouse from 9 a.m.-noon including history of the Medal of Honor, replica medals and information about the recipients.

National Medal of Honor Day is Tuesday, March 25. The Clallam County Veterans Association will host a display in the lobby of the Clallam County Courthouse from 9 a.m.-noon including history of the Medal of Honor, replica medals and information about the recipients.

Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day is Sunday, March 30. Local Army Vietnam veteran Norman Goodin will host this event along with the Clallam County Veterans Association.

There will be a coffee social for all veterans from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. at the Clallam County Veterans Center, 216 S. Francis St., Port Angeles.
