“Tender Mercies,” a 1983 movie starring Robert Duvall, will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.

In the movie, part of Trinity’s Faith in Film series, Duvall portrays a broken-down, middle-aged country singer who gets a new wife, reaches out to his long-lost daughter and tries to put his troubled life back together.

The movie and the popcorn are free.
