Library to host youth art classes

The popular Kids Create Art series for children ages 7-12 will resume Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Sequim Library.

 

The popular Kids Create Art series for children ages 7-12 will resume Saturday, Feb. 21, at the

Sequim Library.

Spring sessions again will feature local artists presenting fun, creative programs from 10 a.m.-noon on the third Saturday of each month. Artist Dani LaBlond will be the instructor for the February, March and April workshops.

 

The February workshop focuses on imaginary clay creatures; March 21 will focus on painting and decorating them. On April 18, attendees will learn about the art of printmaking. On May 16, the season’s final session, artist and former elementary school teacher Karen Sisk will introduce participants to warm and cool colors by creating fun, vibrant designs.
