Peninsula College offers information on Running Start

Peninsula College hosts a series of Running Start Information Nights in Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Forks in February, March and April.

Peninsula College hosts a series of Running Start Information Nights in Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Forks in February, March and April.

The informational meetings are designed to provide prospective Running Start students and their parents with an opportunity to learn more about the program and how high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit tuition free. They also will learn about strategies for success and what parents and families can do to be supportive.

Running Start Information Nights on the main campus in Port Angeles are Wednesday, Feb. 18, Thursday, March 12, and Thursday, April 16. The February and March information sessions and panel discussions are held in Maier Performance Hall, Room E125, and the April information session is held in Keegan Lecture Hall, Room M125 starting at 7 p.m. A campus tour is offered at 6:30 p.m.

The Running Start Information Night in Port Townsend is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, at the Fort Worden Schoolhouse, Room D, starting at 6 p.m. The Forks session is Thursday, March 26, at Peninsula College at Forks, Room 101, starting at 6 p.m.
