Lights! Camera! Action!

Washington State Lottery commercial filming downtown

Washington State Lottery commercial filming downtown

Oh Hello Productions is shooting a Washington lotto commercial on East Washington Street between Sequim Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue.

Filming started at 7 a.m. and wraps up before 6 p.m. The “set” is open to the public. The production team only asks that you are quiet when they call “action,” and to please stay out of the camera’s range.

Those driving down Washington can expect brief intermittent traffic stops while the shooting takes place.

The commercial, directed by Dan Brown and “starring” Seattle actor Shaun Telford, concerns a unique way of picking your lucky lottery numbers.

Hint: Alfred Hitchcock would have loved it.
