Ushering in its 25th season, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, goes down the yellow brick road for its annual dinner auction on Nov. 9.

A few tickets remain for the clubs’ biggest fundraiser event of the year as organizers hope to raise $175,000 for the clubs in Sequim and Port Angeles. Janet Gray, resource development director, said they are offering 25 live auction items including Emblem3 concert tickets and vacations and nearly 200 silent auction items. By using the “Wizard of Oz” theme, Gray said they plan to tie it into the clubs’ mission statement with a presentation by club members.

KONP announcer Todd Ortloff serves as emcee with a surf and turf and vegetarian option eggplant Napoleon meals available.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 and available online at bgc-op.org or by calling the Sequim club, 400 W. Fir St., at 683-8095.
