Milestone: Brownies work for bench

Current and former Brownies with Girl Scout Troop 43630 in Sequim pose with a bench they donated to the City of Sequim with funds from last year’s Girl Scout cookie sales.

The girls, from top left, Clara Bonheyo, Katherine Jones, Abby Frank, Maggie White, bottom left, Kylie Hill, Olivia Ostlund and Haley Hill, voted to use their cookie money to help support the City of Sequim’s parks, and contacted city staff to identify the best way for them to help. City staff installed the bench and plaque in between the Haller Playfields and Carrie Blake Park.
