Students at Sequim Middle School held to their near-end-of-the-school-year tradition with the annual Fear Factor assembly on June 12, with grades 6, 7 and 8 challenging each other in various quirky — and often disgusting — events.
Students with no missing assignments, referrals and unexcused absences were allowed to attend and have a chance to participate in various gross-out events from bobbing for pig’s feet to eating concoctions of foods like the six S’s competition — Spam, sardines, sauerkraut, snails, squid and spinach on a plate — to more conventional events like obstacle courses.
