Norse genealogist featured speaker at Clallam meeting

The Clallam County Genealogical Society hosts Deanna Dowell, a renowned expert on Norse genealogy, at the group’s Saturday, Sept. 20, meeting.

The meeting is from 10 a.m.-noon in the Port Angeles Library’s Raymond Carver room, 2210 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles.

Dowell presents “Slekhistorie: The Basics — Norway to America.”

The meeting is free to the public. Attendees are asked to come 15-30 minutes early to be able to register, visit and have a cup of coffee.
