High Holidays coming up. Taize services not held this month.

Jews to celebrate High Holidays

Congregation Olympic B’nai Shalom invites all Jews to celebrate the High Holidays for 5775.

Student Rabbi Dusty Klass will lead services at the Universalist Unitarian Church at 73 Howe Road.

Services are as follows:

Wednesday, Sept. 24: Erev Rosh Hashanah; set up 5 p.m., potluck dinner 6 p.m., services 7:15 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 25, Rosh Hashanah; Sunrise Service at City Pier 6:40 a.m., 7:05 a.m. sunrise) breakfast following sunrise service at Red Lion Crabhouse; Morning Service 10 a.m. led by Rabbi Dusty Klass, Bagel & Lox Oneg noon, clean up; Tashlich 2:30 p.m. at Rail Road Bridge Park. Bring your bread crumbs

Friday, Oct. 3: Erev Yom Kippur, set up 6:30 p.m., Kol Nidre Service, 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 4: Yom Kippur; Morning Service 10 a.m., Torah Study 2 p.m. led by Sandy Goldstien, Afternoon Service 3:30 p.m., Yizkor, Neilah and Havdalah to follow; Break the Fast Dairy Potluck, clean up.

No Taize services   held this month

There will be no Taize services in the month of September, due to the sanctuary at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church being repainted and carpeted.

The next Taize service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27.
