At the event, people were allowed to anonymously bring in expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for safe disposal. Similar drop-off sites on the North Olympic Peninsula were held in Sequim, Quilcene and Port Hadlock. Inspector Joshua Ley, Target Zero Manager with the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, said citizens delivered 258 pounds of unwanted, unused, and/or expired medications to the courthouse drop-off location.
