Sequim High hosts Color Guard try-outs

The Sequim High School Band invites students to try out for Color Guard for the 2015-2016 season.

The Sequim High School Band invites students to try out for Color Guard for the 2015-2016 season. The Sequim High School Color Guard is a performance group that combines marching, dance and synchronized equipment work set to music.

The band and color guard will perform at Husky Band Day, the Seattle Macy’s Holiday Parade, Sequim High School Homecoming football half-time show, a basketball half-time show, and other parades throughout Washington including the Spokane Lilac Festival Parade.

Tryouts for color guard will be held at Sequim High School Band Camp from 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 24-25, in the Community School Gym on Fir Street. There will be a skills clinic on Aug. 24 before try-outs.
