Sequim Schools’ summer send-off

Sequim School District’s 2024-25 school year ended on June 12 for summer vacation with a half-day of classes.

In the stadium parking lot after school, teachers and staff cheered and waved as buses drove off as students smiled and waved back from their windows.

Following a few months of activities, family trips, and fun in the sun, school will resume in Sequim on Wednesday, Aug. 27. The Back to School Fair is set for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St.
