Multiple law enforcement agencies are seeking more information after finding the body of a deceased female in a Diamond Point home Thursday evening.

According to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in the Diamond Point area for a welfare check at about 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 26, where they found the as-of-yet unidentified deceased person.

“Due to the suspicious nature of this death, the Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Response Team was called out and is currently processing the scene,” sheriff’s office representatives said in a press release Friday morning.

Detectives with the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office are investigating this death with the assistance of detectives from the Sequim and Port Angeles Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Clallam County Coroner’s Office, and the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team.

In addition, the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team has been deployed to assist with searching for evidence.
