Soroptimist International of Sequim is accepting applications for the Women’s Opportunity Award.

The award is for a woman with primary financial responsibility for supporting her family and who attends or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or undergraduate degree program. The cash award of $1,500 may be used to offset any costs associated with efforts to attain higher education,

including books, child care and transportation. The deadline for submitting applications is Dec. 15, either by mail to PO Box 126, Sequim, WA 98382 or by submitting online to woa@sisequim.com.
