Voters registration due in July

The last day that voters can register for the Aug. 6 Primary Election by mail or online is July 8. Voters new to Washington can register in person, at the County Auditor’s Office, until July 29.

Address changes within Washington must be made by July 8. Voters can check their voter registration record at www.vote.wa.gov.

Ballots will be mailed to voters in the Port Angeles School District, Port of Port Angeles District 1 and Fire District 3 on July 17. If a voter plans to be temporarily away during the time of July 17-Aug. 6, he or she should contact the Auditor’s Office to make arrangements for receiving a ballot at another address.

Ballots are not forwarded to another address by the Postal Service.
