Wellness forum spotlights dental health for seniors

“Dental disease is treatable but most importantly it is preventable. I’d like to share some information with you that will help save you money, improve your oral health and keep you out of the dental chair as much as possible,” said registered dental hygienist Sarah Mullikin of her presentation for the WOW! Working on Wellness Forum at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Olympic Medical Services Building, 840 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

The free presentation, “Keeping Your Teeth & Gums Healthy in the Golden Years,” covers dental issues that especially affect seniors, including dry mouth, medical conditions that impact dental health, dexterity issues, fluoride treatment and new products.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic—Sequim’s free clinic.
