More of Sequim’s top performing athletes were honored Saturday night at the second-annual Sequim High School Hall of Fame hosted by the Sequim Athletic Educational Foundation in the Guy Cole Event Center.

Organizers said 216 people attended with funds from the dinner and auctions used to support high school scholarships and support efforts of Sequim School District’s athletic opportunities.

Inductees on Sept. 13 were Dick Ballard, basketball, class of 1955; Len Beil, basketball, class of 1963; Derrin Doty, baseball, class of 1989; Todd Franklin, basketball, class of 1985; Lisa (Fryer) Tuiasopo for volleyball, class of 1997; Kris Kruse, basketball, class of 1980; Bill Schade, coach 1956-57 ; Branette (Smith) Richards, tennis, class of 1979; Mark Verstegen, football, class of 1987; the Men’s 1963 Basketball team; and the Men’s 1988 Basketball team.
