Gymnastics: Peninsula team competes at Sehome invite

The combined Port Angeles-Sequim-Crescent prep gymnastics squad vied for top placings at the five-team Sehome Invitational on Jan. 4. Sequim’s Emma Sharp earned a pair of top-10 finishes — ninth in the vault (9.0 and 10th on the floor (8.3) — while Sequim teammate Kori Miller was 10th on the bars (6.10). Other teams competing included host Sehome (first place), Columbia River (second), Ballard (third) and Shorewood/Shorecrest.
