Pablo Garnados, minor league pickleball NW director, explains the rules of the Sequim Fling pickleball tournament on Saturday at Carrie Blake Community Park in Sequim. Hosted by the Sequim Picklers, which has almost 500 members, the Friday through Sunday tournament was the first time the club has held a minor league tournament. Granados said that he loves “the fact that I can bring it out here.” Saturday’s opening ceremony included the Grand Olympics Chorus singing the national anthem and a tribute to Marty Hoffman.
