Glasser sees action at CWU

Sequim High graduate Payton Glasser, a former standout basketball star at Sequim High School, saw some limited time in a pair of wins for the Central Washington University football team this fall.

Glasser, a redshirt freshman, plays backup tight end for the Wildcats. He got on the field in CWU’s 92-0 win over Lincoln on Oct. 30 and 70-0 win over Simon Fraser (B.C.) on Nov. 13.

Glasser, a 2018 Sequim high graduate, scored 7 touchdowns and had more than 400 yards receiving as a junior, earning first-team all-Olympic League honors.
