More than 100 high school junior varsity, youth and middle school wrestlers from the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas competed in the third annual Olympic Mountain Folkstyle Wrestling Challenge in Port Angeles on Jan. 31.
“It was a great day of wrestling with the kids getting lots of mat time and valuable experience,” coach Erik Gonzalez said.
Wrestlers were matched up into 30 groups based on age and weight with the top three in each group earning medals.
