Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County offers monthly orientations for those interested in volunteering with the organization on the first Thursday of every month in Carlsborg, and the first Friday of every month in Port Angeles.

June sessions are scheduled for 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at 810 S. Albert St., Port Angeles, and 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, June 7, in Carlsborg (call 360-775-7806 for directions).

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County has been serving our community for 40 years, providing end-of-life nursing care, lending medical equipment and supplies, offering education programs, grief support groups, one-on-one bereavement services and specialized workshops on living alone.

Volunteer opportunities include delivery driver, assisting with information technology, office support and respite caregiver.

Training is offered as necessary.
