Bill Shea is getting new responsibilities and fellow Sequim golf figure Chad Wagner has a new gig.

The Peninsula Golf Club, Inc. board of directors, announced in late November that they have hired Wagner as their new head golf professional, and an agreement with Shea — director of golf at Sequim’s The Cedars at Dungeness — to manage and operate the Peninsula Golf Club pro shop.

Wagner’s first day as Peninsula’s head pro was Dec. 1.

Wagner has worked under Shea’s direction as an assistant pro at The Cedars since 2013.

Shea will continue to oversee both golf operations at The Cedars at Dungeness and Peninsula Golf Club.
