Greywolf Fly Fishers to meet

The next meeting of the Sequim Greywolf Fly Fishers is 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Masonic Lodge, 700 S. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by fishing reports on local lakes and favorite flies that successfully catch fish. The remainder of the meeting is reserved for individual fly-tying. Attendees may tie a fly of their choice (bring your fly tying equipment and materials) or observe this month’s tying event. There will also be a fly raffle and discussion about recent adventures. Annual membership fees are due (single fishers, $30; family fishers, $30).

Bowl for derby

The Port Scandalous Bowler Derby is set for 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Laurel Lanes Bowling Center, 108 W. Eighth St., Port Angeles.

Presented by Port Scandalous and 7 Cedars Casino, the event is a fundraiser for Port Scandalous Roller Derby, helping the team purchase equipment and other costs. Register today for a place on a team, or bring friends and family and make your own team. Cost is $25 per person or $100 per team and includes shoe rentals and pizza. A raffle for prizes donated by local businesses will also be available.

Freeze Your Tees tourney set for Feb. 27

The Freeze Your Tees golf tournament is set for Tuesday, Feb. 27 at The Cedars at Dungeness golf course, 1965 Woodcock Road. Open to all women, the tourney is a nine-hole, net-scored event that includes tee prizes, trophies and more.

A continental breakfast is served at 9 a.m., followed by a clinic at 9:30 a.m. and play at 10 a.m. A no-host lunch and awards ceremony is at 12:30 p.m. at SkyRidge Golf Course, 7015 Old Olympic Highway. Golf tourney a softball fundraiser

The Golf for Softball fundraising tournament is set for Saturday, March 10, at SkyRidge Golf Course, 7015 Old Olympic Highway.

Cost is $50 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, range balls and lunch. Carts are $30 each.

The tourney has a 20-team maximum. Call 360-683-3673 to register a team or be added as an individual on a team. Check-in is at 8 a.m. and the tournament starts at 9 a.m.

Funds raised go to the Sequim High School Softball Boosters Club to fund equipment, tourney fees and travel expenses for the high school team.
